R.I.P my great Uncle Private: John Welsh 3663167 South Lancashire Regiment C-Company,fought on sword beach and died from wounds on 29/06/1944 near Caen,his younger brother Ken Welsh researched his involvement in ww2 for years but never got over to france he sadly passed away last monday,hes now back reunited with his big brother R.I.P
