Major GEORGE STUART SEATON was educated in Pontypridd (now – 2015 - Mid Glamorgan, South Wales) and was commissioned on the 8th July 1931 with the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Territorial Army – 5th (Glamorgan) Battalion of the Welch Regiment. Major GEORGE STUART SEATON was killed in action by a German sniper while leading his men in the capture of Caen in Northern France.
Eunice Irene Seaton, the widow of Major GEORGE STUART SEATON, passed away on 22nd January 1980.1
