Flight Lieutenant MARTYN LOWTHER CARRICK was pilot of Hawker Typhoon Mark 1b JR125, OF 609 (Royal Air Force) Squadron. His aircraft was believed to be hit by flak (anti-aircraft fire) and crashed south of Trun on Friday 18th August 1944.1
